Returns Policy

Please note that you do have the right to return a product for refund within the first 7 days following delivery. Special order items are custom made to your specification and for this reason are exempt from the 7 day cancellation period. We regret that we will not be able to accept these goods back for credit or exchange.

If we have correctly supplied the product as ordered then we will reimburse the original purchase price less an admin processing fee of £10+vat. We request that you return the goods to us in original condition. You will also be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us. Please note that any goods returned more than 28 days after the original delivery date will not be refunded unless we received notification of cancellation within the 7 day period. Please ensure that goods are securely packaged to avoid damage. If goods are damaged in transit we reserve the right to make a claim against the customer for this damage.

TO RETURN AN ITEM(S) PLEASE COMPLETE THESE 3 STEPS:

(1) You must contact us first to request a *Returns Number. Please call 0871 434 3917
(2) Send the goods to the following address: Returns, Get Car Parts, Direct House, Bootham Lane, Dunscroft, Doncaster, South Yorkshire, DN7 4JU. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us. Please ensure that goods are securely packaged to avoid damage. If goods are damaged in transit we reserve the right to make a claim against the customer for this damage.
(3) Attach a copy of the delivery note or invoice as proof of purchase and mark the package clearly with the *Returns Number.

(*) Returns Number - This number helps us to deal quickly and efficiently with your refund. Please note that if this number is not clearly marked on the returned item then this may cause delays. Any complaints should be made to sales @ getcarparts.co.uk

**Please note that we expect you to return the goods to us in original condition.

GOODS DAMAGED IN TRANSIT

If you receive an item that has been damaged in transit please notify us within a reasonable time period. Our couriers allow us up to 48 hours from the time of delivery to report transit damage. If goods have been damaged in transit we will make arrangements to replace the goods once the courier has acknowledged the claim for transit damage. We also request that you keep the goods and any packaging in case the courier needs to inspect the delivery as part of the transit insurance claim.

RETURNS UNDER WARRANTY

Most products carry a manufacturers warranty. Bulbs only carry a three month warranty from the date of purchase. Most other products carry a 12 month minimum warranty. If an item develops a warranty fault within the warranty period we will be happy to repair or replaced the item, however, you will be responsible for any return costs incurred. A replacement item will be sent out at our cost once the fault has been verified and confirmed and the warranty claim acknowledge by the manufacturer. Please note that this process can sometimes take several days. Your legal rights are not affected.
