Terms Of Sale

1. PRICING

All prices include V.A.T. at the standard UK rate (if applicable). The total price of the Goods stated on the Website will be displayed in the Buyers shopping cart prior to confirming the order. After the order is received, if we wish to accept it, we will confirm by email the details, description and price for the Goods. Delivery charges depend on the size and weight of the packaged consignment and will be displayed at the checkout. Payment of the price must be made in full before dispatch of the Good by us.

2. ORDER CONFIRMATION

We will confirm your order either by e-mail or by telephone. Order confirmation is normally sent after we have validated credit/debit card details and received authorisation from the card issuers - Please note that this process can take up to 24 Hours.

3. PAYMENTS

We accept payment by most major credit or debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Solo, Delta, Electron and Maestro cards. Payment will be debited to your account as your order is placed.

4. DELIVERY

We will endeavour to deliver your order by next day if you order before 3pm if the goods are in stock (Unless a longer delivery period is clearly stated on the specific product page). If we are not able to meet this deadline, we will contact you within 3 days of receipt of your order to arrange an alternative delivery date. The guarantee of free delivery only applies to UK mainland addresses not including N.Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of White, Isles of Scilly, The Highlands and Islands of Scotland (An extra delivery charge delivery of up to £35 will apply to these locations.) If you are wanting to place an international order through then an extra delivery charge may also apply depending on the cost of delivery to your country. Please note that deliveries to N.Ireland, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly, The Highlands and Islands of Scotland, Isle of White can take longer than 3-5 days to deliver - Please ask if express delivery is required but note that we will not refund the express delivery charge if goods are subsequently returned.

6. REFUNDS AND RETURNS POLICY

Please note that you do have the right to return a product for refund within the first 7 days following delivery. Special order items are custom made to your specification and for this reason are exempt from the 7 day cancellation period. We regret that we will not be able to accept these goods back for credit or exchange.

If we have correctly supplied the product as ordered then we will reimburse the original purchase price less an admin processing fee of £10+vat. We request that you return the goods to us in original condition. You will also be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us. Please note that any goods returned more than 28 days after the original delivery date will not be refunded unless we received notification of cancellation within the 7 day period. Please ensure that goods are securely packaged to avoid damage. If goods are damaged in transit we reserve the right to make a claim against the customer for this damage.

TO RETURN AN ITEM(S) PLEASE COMPLETE THESE 3 STEPS:

(1) You must contact us first to request a *Returns Number. Please call 0871 434 3917
(2) Send the goods to the following address: Returns, Get Car Parts, Direct House, Bootham Lane, Dunscroft, Doncaster, South Yorkshire, DN7 4JU. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us. Please ensure that goods are securely packaged to avoid damage. If goods are damaged in transit we reserve the right to make a claim against the customer for this damage.
(3) Attach a copy of the delivery note or invoice as proof of purchase and mark the package clearly with the *Returns Number.

(*) Returns Number - This number helps us to deal quickly and efficiently with your refund. Please note that if this number is not clearly marked on the returned item then this may cause delays. Any complaints should be made to sales @ getcarparts.co.uk

**Please note that we expect you to return the goods to us in original condition.

7. GOODS DAMAGED IN TRANSIT

Please ensure to check that the goods are in good condition before signing for delivery. If for any reason you cannot inspect the goods i.e delivery driver won't allow, then the delivery note must be signed as "Damaged Goods"; should you fail to do so, the delivery company will not accept any liability for the claim. If you receive an item that has been damaged in transit please do not accept this from the delivery company. If goods have been damaged in transit we will make arrangements to replace the goods once the courier has acknowledged the claim for transit damage. We also request that you keep the goods and any packaging in case the courier needs to inspect the delivery as part of the transit insurance claim.

8. RETURNS UNDER WARRANTY

Most products carry a manufacturers warranty. Bulbs only carry a three month warranty from the date of purchase. Most other products carry a 12 month minimum warranty. If an item develops a warranty fault within the warranty period we will be happy to repair or replaced the item, however, you will be responsible for any return costs incurred. A replacement item will be sent out at our cost once the fault has been verified and confirmed and the warranty claim acknowledge by the manufacturer. Please note that this process can sometimes take several days. Your legal rights are not affected.

9. PRODUCT INFORMATION

Although we endeavour to provide you with the latest product information and to ensure that product images are identical to the items supplied, we cannot always guarantee that this will be the case. Product colours and styles can differ slightly from the published images.

10. CONFIDENTIALITY AND SECURITY

Personal details are held confidentially. Please note that we never divulge personal details to any third party and any information supplied is used solely for the purpose of processing your order or sending you regular email bulletins (If requested). If you decide that you would like to leave our mailing list, please ask and we will remove all of your details. Once you decide to make a purchase through our website our payment partner The Royal Bank Of Scotland World Pay are endorsed to complete the secure online transaction for you. All payment card information is securely encrypted and transmitted by The Royal Bank Of Scotland. You will also receive payment confirmation from The Royal Bank Of Scotland for your purchase. You can verify the security of this process by checking for the padlock sign in your browser window. Security checks will be operated to validate the authenticity of the card holder.

11. PRODUCT SUITABILITY

Please note: It is your responsibility to ensure that the item that you have ordered is suitable for your car based on the information that we have published on our website. If you are in any doubt as to the suitability of any product for your vehicle then please contact us for further advice before ordering. All application information is supplied by the product manufacturers and all dates used in product descriptions are dates of vehicle manufacture, they are not vehicle registration dates. If you are in doubt please ask. Please note that products on this web site are generally suitable for UK specification vehicles and we are not able to ensure suitability of these products for non-UK specification vehicles (including models imported from outside the UK). Again, if you order a part, and it does not fit your vehicle, it is your responsibility to deliver the part back before the part price is refunded.

12. IMPORTANT NOTICE

All products are supplied on a DIY fit basis, fitting instructions are provided in most cases. All items carry a minimum one year manufacturers warranty from the date of purchase and we are happy to replace or repair faulty products if you experience any problems during the warranty period. If you choose to have any product professionally installed we will not be held responsible for any costs involved in installing or removing the product from your vehicle during or after the warranty period.

13. CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Get Car Parts are entitled to alter these Terms and Conditions at any time but this right shall not affect the existing Terms and Conditions accepted by the purchaser upon making an order.
